• Head of specialised departments’ viz. Credit, Audit, Business Development and Branch Managers of strategic and key branches with Bank of Baroda in India. (1980 – 1993)
• HR Manager, Chief Manager and advisor to the directors at Trust bank in Kenya (1993 – 1997)
• General Manager and Financial Controller GAPCO (Gulf Africa Petroleum Company in Kenya) (1997-1998)
• General Manager, Board Member, Member and Chairperson of various committees including Credit, Audit, and Computerisation/Automation committees with Akiba Bank Ltd in Kenya (1998 -2000)
